Financial law

Our advisory work covers the full area of financial law and regulations.

This includes supervision of financial markets, investment firms, investment funds and other investment products, finance transactions and the payments industry.

We have an excellent working relationship with both Dutch supervisors, the Autority for the Financial Markets and the Dutch Central Bank.

Our goal is to find the best solution for our clients. At times litigation is necessary.

We act on behalf of our clients in disputes within the financial sector. For example, we litigate on duty of care in derivatives transactions and fiduciary duties of investment firms.

We have extensive experience on collective actions for investors.

We give lectures on developments in financial law to lawyers, advisors and employees of financial institutions.

Lawyers and civil-law notaries can obtain certification for their professional education.

The topics vary from general introductions and recent developments, to in-depth seminars on investment funds, outsourcing, AML regulations and clearing & settlement.
